ORBITAL ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
UPDATE
Orbital's Financial Year 2008 Annual General
Meeting (AGM) will be held at the Riverview Room 5, Perth Convention
Exhibition Centre, Perth at 10.00 am on Wednesday 22nd October.
Parking at the venue will be at a premium so we advise all attending
to allow plenty of time to find parking (see attached map) or use
public transport. The Mandurah rail line is now open making the
train a practical transport option to access the Convention Centre.
In addition to the formal business of the day,
Mr Terry Stinson, CEO and Managing Director of Orbital, will be
introduced to Orbital shareholders and present an overview of Orbital's
business today and potential going forward.
Product displays will include a Ford EGAS vehicle,
equipped with LPG system supplied by Orbital Gas Products (OGP).
The OGP business represents Orbital's first steps and investment
into the alternative fuels market. With the recent high gasoline
costs and uncertainty in long term crude oil supply, the alternative
fuel market presents a growth opportunity for Orbital, complementary
to the current businesses and capability.
Also on display will be an example of the multi-fuel
Polaris ATV vehicle, the first production 4 stroke engine fitted
with Orbital's FlexDI technology.
The members of the Orbital Board and Senior
Staff will be on hand to welcome shareholders for coffee and discussion
at the conclusion of the formal business.
